Studio Printing Supplies

Total budget for printing / printers in the studio around £1500.00 - £2000.00
We all decided that we wanted to produce clothing so screen printing was defiantly an option. My research has shown me that it is beneficial to buy a screen printing set up for small print runs etc. The document shows some screen grabs of the types of print set ups I have been researching.

Screen printing set up Approx - £900.00 - £1200.00
The full package contains everything we need to start printing, after researching I realise that it does take up a lot of space but will defiantly be beneficial for the studio to have as it allows us to print personal printed matter to sell separately to the client based work we aim to produce. Also works out more efficient when you print more than 300 T shirts which was defiantly below the target we were aimed for.

Black and white Laser printer - Approx. £700.00
It is important for the studio that we get a printer that is both cost and environmentally effective.
- A3 paper //  Laser (for screen printing exposure) // Take a variety of stocks // Reasonably compact

Inkjet Printer A1 - Approx £4000.00 - Not appropriate for studio... yet
My research has shown me that it will be better for us to get these one prints done at a printers, as to meet the desired printing standard at that scale they are around £4000.00. They also consume a lot of space, but they might be a consideration depending how well the studio does in the early years of business. Finally the ink is very expensive ranging from around £150 - £300 depending on the printer model etc.
