Tutorial 14.03.12

After the tutorial session with Fred today I feel I can now focus on the weaker areas of my design process as well as pick up on the strengths. The main most influential part of the tutorial was talking about how I deal with briefs and this quote "You need a problem to solve" - this is something I aim to pick up on when working on more self directed briefs to give my work direction

- Process driven
- Satisfactory technical knowledge
- Strong workload - Continue consistent on going evaluation and blogging of ideas
- Consistent, ongoing research - How can I make the most of my ideas?

Issues raised / weaknesses
- My attendance was far worse than I thought, will be 100% from now on
- Need to address understanding of audience to gain a better understanding of context
- Use studio visits to inform your skills development and design decisions

- Start making contacts in other creative areas for ongoing collaborations - furniture etc

- I need a problem to solve
