Exploring a purely typographic project was interesting however I think if I were to do it again I would probably try and use type as image. Also I learnt that Yorkshire isn't in the midlands but actually up north - Yes my geography is terrible...

The initial posters were more colourful but I think has less of an impact, the black and white scheme provided another link to the theme of opposites. Also because the designs were printed on newsprint the black lazer ink sat really nicely.

The main tip I learnt from this brief is that I need to save money for when it gets to the later briefs so I can print things off how I initial intended.

It was also the first time I have worked for a live brief, something that I will have to get used to, I don't think these were particularly my best work
